A daily phone app that helps you break the cycle of OCD compulsions — in 75 seconds.

NeuroReclaim uses the Inhibitory Learning Model — a modern approach to exposure therapy developed by Professor Michelle Craske at UCLA. Instead of long, distressing therapy sessions, you complete a guided 75-second micro-exposure each day. Your brain learns that the feared outcome doesn't happen. Over time, the compulsions lose their grip.

Built by someone with OCD

NeuroReclaim was founded by Daniel Hayden-Seymour, someone who lives with OCD. Every feature exists because I've needed it myself.

Your brain can unlearn fear.

Research by Michelle Craske at UCLA has shown that when your brain predicts something terrible and it doesn't happen, genuine new learning occurs. That's the principle behind every NeuroReclaim session.

Got questions?

Can 75 seconds actually make a difference?

It sounds short, but the science behind it doesn't rely on sitting in distress for a long time. What matters is the moment your brain predicts something terrible — and it doesn't happen. That mismatch is where the learning occurs, and research from UCLA shows it can happen in seconds.

Is this based on real research?

Yes. The approach is built on over 160 peer-reviewed studies into how the brain learns and unlearns fear responses. The key research comes from Professor Michelle Craske at UCLA. NeuroReclaim itself is pre-launch and hasn't been independently evaluated in clinical trials yet — we're transparent about that.

Does this only help with contamination fears?

For now, yes. NeuroReclaim is focused specifically on contamination OCD — the fears around germs, dirt, illness, and rituals like excessive handwashing or cleaning.

What if it feels like too much during a session?

Safety is built into every session. There's a grounding button you can tap at any time. We include direct links to crisis support including the Samaritans (116 123) and the SHOUT text line (85258). NeuroReclaim is a daily practice tool — it doesn't replace professional mental health treatment.

How is this different from other OCD apps?

Most OCD apps connect you to therapists or give you educational content to read. NeuroReclaim is a hands-on daily tool that guides you through short exercises where you interact with the real world and log what happens.
